Penny+Giles Controls Ltd., Christchurch, U.K., offers a 0–10 VDC analog output for its single-output SRH501P and dual-output SRH502P contactless rotary position sensors, making the sensors suitable for use in factory automated systems and process control machinery. The Hall effect-based sensors are available factory-programmed with any one of 341 different angles from 20° to 360° in 1° increments and provide 12-bit resolution over the selected measuring range. OEMs can also specify measurement range and output in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. The sensors are also mechanically interchangeable with the SRS880 and SRH880 rotary sensors.
