The Robots Are Coming, Armed With Sensors, 3D Printers and a Taste for Virtual Reality

If you are professionally involved in any way, shape, or form with robotics, or if you are a big fan of robots, a hobbyist, or you just like robots as friends or pets, you have no excuse for missing RoboUniverse Conference & Expo. The reasons for not missing this event are near infinite, but here are the top four.

First, I reiterate, the show is all about robots and robot related technology. There will be exhibitions and demos of robotics in every imaginable industry and market, offered by the biggest names in the business.

Second, attendees will be getting the added bonus of checking out the latest bleeding edge 3D-printing and virtual-reality technologies. RoboUniverse will be co-located with the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo and the Virtual Reality Summit. Such a deal is not so easy to come by these days.

Third, there will be a Sensors Pavilion at the show. That’s right, what do you think makes those robots tick? Five-dollar watches with second hands? Sensors are at the heart of all things, especially robots.

Fourth, the whole event takes place in the greatest city in the world. RoboUniverse Conference & Expo’s Second Edition takes place April 11-12, 2016 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The event is organized around four primary themes, featuring dedicated content tracks covering Cognitive Science & IoT, Drones for Business, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Robots for Enterprise.

Session topics include:

•           The Neurobiotics Connection: Connecting the Physical World to our Human Brain

•           Women in Frontier Technology

•           Robots as a Service (RaaS)

•           AI, Robotics, and Drones – The Real Story on The Future of Jobs

•           Investing in Robotics, Drones, and Related Software
