Economically priced, the DSG3000 3-GHz and 6-GHz series RF signal generators offer standard AM/FM/Phase modulation as well as options for I/Q modulation and I/Q baseband output. They specify a typical phase noise of less than 110 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz and an output range of -130 dBm to +13 dBm. Other features include standard pulse modulation with an on/off ratio up to 80 dB, a typical amplitude accuracy of better than 0.5dB, and a standard 0.5-ppm internal clock that is upgradeable to a 5-ppb, high-stability oven-controlled clock.
