Meeting the 2016 UL325 requirements for monitored operation, the IRB-RET retroreflective photoeye provides external entrapment protection for automatic gates and doors. It is compatible with all operators on the market and provides five monitoring interfaces and is also compatible with most non-monitored legacy products. The IRB-RET features a 60-ft long range, high immunity to sunlight and fog, a retroreflective configuration that eliminates the need for a separate transmitter and associated wiring across a roadway, and a rugged, watertight NEMA 4X enclosure suitable for any environment.
