The AnyBus RemoteCom from HMS Industrial Networks, Halmstad, Sweden, connects locally to any automation device equipped with a standard serial Modbus-RTU or Ethernet Modbus-TCP interface and provides remote management and control of the connected devices. Features include an internal Web server, integrated alarm and status handler, integrated Ethernet interface (a GSM/GPRS network interface is optional), RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports, and the ability to connect to an external GPS receiver. A secure central Web server collects and stores logged data. Applications include remote management and supervision of factory and process automation devices, power generation equipment, and HVAC systems.
