The Endevco Model 2771C-XX Series of remote charge converters (RCCs) from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, now includes a 5 mV/pC gain version. The Model 2771C-XX Series is offered with additional individually fixed gains of 0.1 mV/pC, 1.0 mV/pC, and 10 mV/pC and provides a 2-wire (IEPE), single-ended design operating from 4–20 mA power. Broadband noise range is down to 5 µVrms and frequency response is 0.4 to 50 kHz. Signal output and input current are carried along the same wire. The ultra-low-noise RCCs withstand shock loads up to 100 g peak, are radiation tested to 1.0 MRads, and facilitate measurements from piezoelectric transducers within mechanical system health monitoring, nuclear power plant, regenerative energy, and environmental testing applications.
