The TR400 from Electro-Sensors Inc., Minnetonka, MN, displays rate or time in process by detecting and converting 0.01–10,000 Hz signal inputs. Available with a single channel or with quadrature signal decoding for bidirectional applications, the ratemeter offers 6 relays and 4–20 mA output. A system slowdown test lets you verify relay setpoints and operation while the system is functioning normally and without needing to recalibrate the system after the test is complete. Applications include belt, vibratory, and drag conveyors; fans and blowers; bucket elevators; pumps, turbines and generators; and motors.
