Ranken Technical College Brings Industry-Driven Education To The Region

St. Louis, MO --- To help fill the void of in-demand technology and manufacturing jobs, Ranken Technical College provides students with industry-driven education and training by offering degrees and certifications in the automotive, architecture, construction, electrical, information technology, and manufacturing industries. With accreditation by The Higher Learning Commission, Ranken’s programs have earned the reputation for being one of the best technical school models in the nation.

Jessi McMichael of Netelligent Corporation says, “We’ve continued our long-lasting relationship with Ranken not only because of their reputation as a top tier school, but also because entry-level students enter the workforce prepared, confident, and are engaged employees.”

The demand of Ranken’s industry-leading educational and training programs has led Ranken to open a new facility in the southeast region of Missouri. This year, in partnerships between Ranken Technical College, TG Missouri Corporation, Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation, and Robinson Construction, Ranken began training TG Missouri Corporation interns in their industry-leading industrial engineering program.

“We understand the region’s shortage, as well as its demand, in manufacturing jobs and are preparing our students with the best education to help fill the gap in Missouri and the surrounding areas,” says Stan Shoun, president of Ranken Technical College. “Along with our educational and training programs, we provide students with pathways into the job market. This is how programs such as our Certified Dealer Technician Program can place 100% of its students with automotive technician jobs.”

At Ranken Technical College’s Job Fair last week, over 330 companies attended with intentions to hire Ranken students. Some students were hired on the spot as their industry-driven education and training caught the attention of employers. Ranken’s job fairs are open to all Ranken students and graduates.
