The BPRM CP RMU from FreeWave Technologies, Boulder, CO, is a wireless, battery-powered, submersible radio network device for pipe-to-soil cathodic protection applications. Suited for use in the water/wastewater and oil and gas industries where users only need to access the radio once every two years, the radio is especially suited for applications with a polling frequency of once a week or longer. The device is offered in 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies and has a forecasted battery life of 4.5 years. Only the antenna is visible above ground.
