Quanergy Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Quanergy Systems, Inc. has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, following an audit by DEKRA Certification, Inc. International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is one element of the larger ISO 9000 family of quality management standards. ISO 9001:2015, however, is the only current standard for which companies can receive certification. To receive ISO certification, companies must meet specific requirements for quality management systems. This iteration of the ISO 9001 puts a stronger emphasis on involvement of the leadership team and better addresses issues including organizational risk and end-to-end supply chain management.

Obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification is critical for Quanergy since it is required by the company’s large global customers across multiple industries. Certification is especially important to Quanergy’s work in the automotive industry, since automotive standard IATF 16949 quality management requirements cross over to ISO9001:2015.
