The IL-Mini from Logic Beach Inc., La Mesa, CA, is a programmable, stand-alone data logger that accepts analog, digital, and Modbus transducer and signal inputs and offers conditional logging, inter-channel calculations, alarms, and intelligent data collection strategies. The weatherproof logger has 4 analog inputs that can be configured for multiple bipolar ranges of DC voltage, current, or thermocouple input; a frequency/counter/event input; and up to 2 outputs. With its internal battery pack and the PSM-4 option, the logger can provide cycled 10, 15, or 24 VDC output for sensor or 4–20 mA loop transmitter power. Other features include a removable CF card that holds up to 10 million samples, a multi-line LCD, and optional Modbus RTU Master and Slave functionality.
