ControlMaster process controllers and indicators from ABB Instrumentation, Wickliffe, OH, offer dead-time compensation; adaptive, predictive, and dual-loop control; cascade, feedforward, and ratio control; math and logic; and totalization. The devices have flexible I/O and each device can be scaled to suit application requirements by the addition of plug-and-play function keys; a full-color LCD shows process information. The four models also provide delay timers, problem-solving diagnostics, and Ethernet, Profibus, and Modbus communications. The enclosures are rated IP66 and NEMA4X.
