Types 4260A and 4262A piezoresistive pressure transducer families from Kistler North America, Farmington Hills, MI, are designed for automotive powertrain and component leak testing applications. Measurement range is –14.7 to 5000 psi. Features include a MEMS sensing element mounted in a seal assembly that is fully isolated from pressure media by a welded 316L SS or Hastelloy diaphragm, proof pressures >3x F.S., and temperature compensation from –4°F to 250°F. A patented sealing method facilitates multiple measurement cycles without fatigue. Sensors have high accuracy, stability, repeatability, and linearity and are available with a range of voltage and mA outputs.
