The 3100 Series thin-film pressure transducers from Gems Sensors & Controls Inc., Plainville, CT, provide F.S. accuracy of 0.25% and 0.1% long-term drift over F.S./yr. The transducers are <1 in. dia., weigh 32 g, and feature an all-SS design. Pressure ranges are from 0–30,000 psi. Shock capability meets IEC 68-2-32 requirements; the sensors will also withstand 40 G peak-to-peak sinusoidal vibration. The devices are available in 3-wire voltage, 2-wire current, or ratiometric output versions with a variety of electrical and mechanical connectors.
