The Heise DXD digital pressure transducer from Ashcroft Inc., Stratford, CT, is now available with a LabVIEW driver and a LabVIEW-based utility to let you address, configure, and monitor one or more DXDs. Ranges are from vacuum through 7500 psi with accuracy of ±0.02% of full span (including temperature effects) and update rates are up to 15 ms. Dozens of DXDs can communicate with a single PC serial port at speeds up to 115 Kbps via full-duplex RS-232 or RS-485. The transducer has wetted materials and a rugged enclosure of 300 series SS.
