Gems Sensors and Controls
The 31CS and 32CS Series pressure sensors from Gems Sensors and Controls, Basingstoke, U.K., can be fitted directly to pipe work and are suited for use in hazardous-area installations such as wellhead automation, gas distribution, and gas compressors. The sensors have 17-4PH SS wetted parts; feature sputtered thin-film sensing technology, ASIC-controlled thermal compensation and signal conditioning; and are identical in their design, although the 32CS Series has a thicker diaphragm and a pressure restrictor to withstand extreme pressure spikes. Both series are available in a range of factory-configured settings.
