The AST2000H2 from American Sensor Technologies (AST) Inc., Mount Olive, NJ, is a digitally compensated pressure sensor/transducer for hydrogen pressure measurement applications. Features include an SAE-3 or SAE-4 pressure port, 0.5–4.5 V ratiometric output, Packard Metripack 150 electrical connection, optional 1% total error band, and a hex and diaphragm machined from a single piece of 316L SS. The devices have been tested to the TUV compatibility standard for compressed hydrogen gas (CGH2) components for onboard vehicle storage systems. Applications include PEM fuel cells, measuring onboard vehicle cylinder pressure or hydrogen regulator pressure, hydrogen filling stations, hydrogen storage containers, and test stand equipment.
