Pressure Sensor Squeezes Into Tight Quarters

The MTM3000 series miniature submersible transmitters are designed for depth and level measurements of groundwater, wastewater, and sea water where space is very limited.  Pressure ranges from 0 to 10 psi to 0 to 500 psi. Operating temperature is 25°F to +125°F. The Titanium housing of 0.39ʺ diameter offers high performance in very small, i.e., 1/2ʺ monitoring wells, stand pipes. and bore holes.


The piezoresistive sensing technology provides an accuracy of 0.1% and reliable long-term stability of better than 0.1% per year. The technology also provides a very high overpressure of at least 3x the rated range without any degradation of the sensor performance. When used with the MP11 Moisture Protection option the user can expect maintenance free operation for an extended period, usually more than 10 years.
