Features include forward and backward measurement capability, 2 channels of force measurement (analog, strain gauge, or piezo), 2 channels of distance measurement (inductive, resistive, analog, incremental, or SSI), torque (strain gauge or analog, angle; incremental), and Ethernet, serial, parallel, or Profibus communications. Fieldbus communications are optional. You can program up to 6 additional stations through the display, by adding up to 3 SAM 400 slave units.
