HP Series turbine flowmeters from Cox Instruments, Scottsdale, AZ, are available in ranges from 0.25–2.5 gpm to 25–250 gpm, depending on meter size. Available in a range of sizes, the flowmeters feature 0.25% of reading accuracy, 2–3 ms response time, MS33514 end-fittings, and the ability to withstand pressures up to 5000 psig (continuous), 7500 psig (proof), and 25,000+ psig (burst). Calibrations are NIST-traceable. With a standard K factor (10:1 flow ratio) calibration, frequency output is linear to within ±0.5% over the entire flow range for liquids with viscosities up to 1.26 centistokes. Meters provide a linear extended range from 15:1 on small meters, ranging up to 100:1 on 2 in. meters, without using linearizing electronics.
