Deemed the company’s most popular ultrasonic sensors, the UCXL-MaxSonar-WR series sensors are now available in a package that is physically shorter than any its current outdoor sensors. They are intended for integration into a customer’s system with the company’s horn or for flush mounting in existing housings. Rugged and road worthy, the sensors are individually calibrated, RoHS and IP67 compliant with proper mounting design, and the sensor layout offers four conveniently placed mounting holes for design flexibility. Features include a 1-cm resolution, operational temperature range from -40˚C to +70˚C, real-time automatic calibration (voltage, humidity, ambient noise), 200,000+ Hours Mean Time Between Failure, an operational voltage range from 3V to 5.5V, and a 3.4-mA average current requirement.
