PQ Series pressure sensors from IFM Efector Inc., Exton, PA, are designed for pneumatic applications such as those found in robotics and material handling. The 32 by 30 by 42 mm piezoresistive sensor features pushbutton programming, a 4-digit display, 2 programmable switching outputs or 1 switching and 1 diagnostic output, and the ability to change color depending on switching output status. Accuracy is ±0.5%. The PQ7809 has a measuring range of ±14.5 psi and the PQ7834 has a measuring range of –14.5 to 145 psi.
