The Endevco Model 7264C Series from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is a family of low-mass piezoresistive shock accelerometers with a frequency response extending down to DC. The small sensors weigh 1.4 g and are designed to measure long-duration transient shocks that are associated with automotive crash testing, anthropomorphic device testing, aircraft and automotive seat belt testing, and other legislative and safety applications that require minimal mass loading and a broad frequency response. Two versions are available: a 2000 g model with min. 300 mV F.S. output and 0–5000 g frequency response; and a 500 g model with 200 mV min. F.S. output and frequency response from 0–3000 g.
