TE Connectivity’s range of anti-vandal illuminated and non-illuminated piezo switches suit various applications including industrial control products, communication equipment, and medical equipment. They come in various sizes, with bushing diameters of 16 mm, 19 mm, and 22 mm. “These new switches are strong and sturdy,” says Zackary Noel, TE product manager. “Obviously they have no moving parts, which reduces wear. Plus, they dissipate heat very efficiently, are corrosion-resistant and rated IP68 for dust and water resistant. The AVP switches also have long (500mm) leads, which help make them easy to install.”
