A high-powered version can also detect water-based liquids in many opaque glass and plastic containers. Response time is 1 ms. Features include an IR beam powerful enough to burn through dust and other airborne contaminants, accessory apertures, and multiple mounting configurations. The sensor can verify that liquid is being emitted from nozzles to assure proper operation of spraying systems for washing, cooling, package gluing, and other applications.
