Promoting design flexibility, Baumer expands the O500 photoelectric sensor family to include ultrasonic sensors that are identical in design and size with their series O500 counterparts. This one-box-fits-all design also applies to sensor principles/specs and offers the user maximum flexibility during the planning phase. The photoelectric sensors target high-speed apps with very small objects. In turn, the ultrasonic sensors detect almost every object, but do not depend on color, characteristics, or transparency, even under harsh conditions with large amounts of dirt.
