Phoenix Contact Joins ODVA's CIP Conformity Club

MIDDLETOWN, PA -- Phoenix Contact has joined the inaugural group of the Open DeviceNet Vendors Association's (ODVA's) Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) Conformity Club (C3). According to Arnold Offner, Phoenix Contact's industry standards manager, "We have regularly revised our products so that our customers can take advantage of the latest network features, while making it easier to create multivendor systems. As an inaugural member of the first C3 group represented by the founding companies and about a quarter of ODVA's members, Phoenix Contact is stepping up as one of the first companies demonstrating its commitment to specification conformance quality and multivendor-compatible systems."
