Murata Power Solutions’ DCM20 series multifunction panel meters measure dc voltage and current, calculate power up to 96 kW, and display values either manually selected or continuously cycling. The panels provide an input voltage range of 0.5 to 72 Vdc, with a 10-mV resolution. They also support current measurement ranges from 5A to 1,200A when used with an external user-supplied resistive shunt. Targeted for use in 12V, 24V or 48V systems, out-of-the-box accuracy is ±% for voltage and ±2 % for current.
Packaged in a rugged, one-piece polycarbonate housing, the DCM20 meters measure 53.3 mm x 36.3 mm and fit in 0U and 1U racks. Threaded mounting studs and caged terminal blocks for application wiring ensure reliable operation in harsh environments.
Other features include a large (0.36”/9.2 mm) bright red display easily readable at 15 feet (5 meters), with green or blue displays as an option and a front-panel capacitive touch sensor for selection of operating mode. For deeper insights, peruse the DCM20 datasheet.
