Sensonics adds some advanced display options for its Sentry G3 machinery protection monitor. The latest system provides machine protection to API670 standards and also offers an intuitive color LCD in each module to enable users to rapidly identify abnormal conditions and better manage the dynamic behavior of their rotating plant. Added features include vibration, position and speed parameter trending facilities, log and view up to 60 days’ worth of data, ‘look back’ at trends/alarms, and the ability to download data for analysis in Excel. In addition, it is now possible to directly view proximity probe gap and vibration transducer bias voltages to verify correct transducer operation and calibration.
