Optical Displacement Sensor Is The Runt Of The Litter

Claiming to be the smallest optical displacement sensor in its class, the OD Mini exploits CMOS receiver technology to offer measuring ranges from 100 mm to 250 mm. It is a standalone device that employs teach-in LED display or an external teaching input and an integrated amplifier that reduces the amount of cabling. The sensor is available in two housings: a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 70g for harsh environments and a lightweight 40g aluminum housing for standard applications.
