The 01251 IR torque sensor family from Sensor Developments, Lake Orion, MI, is available in single-, dual-, and custom flange designs with capacities from 1000 in.-lb. to 250,000 in.-lb. The noncontact sensors use IR telemetry to measure rotational torque in dynamometer systems and have interconnecting splines on both ends for ease of setup. Features include high frequency response, high sample rate, and high rotational speed.
