Next-Gen Strain Gages Exploit Advanced Sensors Technology
Micro-Measurements

Employing some advanced sensor technology, the company’s next-generation strain gages address the demand for sensors needed to manufacture precision transducers. The Micro-Measurements Advanced Sensors strain gages offer a tighter resistance tolerance, improved gage-to-gage repeatability, and better stability than standard strain gages. They are built on a new manufacturing process using state-of-the-art equipment and tooling. Including tighter-tolerance products with shorter manufacturing lead times, the process has also allowed for the development of a new multi-axis gage that incorporates both a tee-rosette and dual-shear gage on the same backing.
