SMS scalar modular DA systems from Microstar Laboratories Inc., Bellevue, WA, combine a DAPserver with up to 2 DAP boards connected to 8 input signal interface modules and 2 output SI modules in a 3U card cage. MSXB 080 input SI modules provide isolated analog inputs for DAP systems; all inputs are differential and isolated. MSXB 076 output SI modules provide isolated analog outputs for DAP systems and each channel is isolated. Each input module has 8 onboard ADCs synchronized to within a few nanoseconds of each other. Sampling is 250 Ksps. Each output module has 8 onboard DACs synchronized to within a few nanoseconds of each other. DAPservers connect to a laptop or network via Ethernet.
