The Panametrics Sentinel from
GE Sensing, Billerica, MA, is a high-accuracy multipath ultrasonic flowmeter geared to the fiscal custody-transfer of natural gas even at non-ideal conditions, dealing with liquid carryover and buildup. Flow accuracy is 0.1% relative to the calibration of the facility. The flowmeter has received NMI approval, meets AGA9 criteria, and is available in pipe sizes from 4–24 in. The Sentinel system is certified for custody transfer applications on natural gas pipelines.
