It is based on a new platform with similar image processing features as the XSW-640 (shortwave IR) and XTM-640 (thermal imaging) modules. The XCO-640 offers several 22x zoom lens options, fully controllable via Serial Protocol. Lenses with different focal lengths (15 to 330 mm, 30 to 660 mm, or 37.5 to 825 mm) can be used on the same MWIR imaging core. Another feature of the XCO-640 core is that it can be operated with different sensor types, based on either MCT or InSb detector materials, and offering up to 300Hz full frame rate for tracking fast moving objects.
