Land Instruments Intl., Dronfield, U.K., offers the TP8 thermal imager that lets you capture thermal and visual images simultaneously, and features Bluetooth voice recording technology and a measurement range from –20°C to 800°C. The device uses a 384 by 288 IR camera and a color 1280 by 1024 visual camera, records dynamic radiometric sequences of moving targets in real time, and stores up to 1000 images on the 2 GB SD card. It features automatic hot spot and image center detection, internal flash memory capable of storing up to 450 images, an integrated laser locator, and the ability to save image files with text annotation and a voice recording of up to 30 s.
