The LTC2373-18 eight-channel, 18-bit, 1-Msamples/s successive approximation register (SAR) a/d converter (ADC) sets a benchmark with 100-dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The device integrates a programmable sequencer that can store up to 16 control words for configuring the multiplexer (MUX) and input range. This provides the ability to mix and match fully differential and pseudo-differential input ranges with a variety of MUX channel configurations. Like other members of the LTC2373 family, the LTC2373-18 integrates a precision bandgap reference with low drift and guaranteed 20ppm/°C maximum temperature coefficient and a high performance reference buffer into a 25-mm² QFN-32 package.
