The C Series multiloop controller from Athena Controls Inc., Plymouth Meeting, PA, offers 4 loops of PID control with cascade and feed-forward capabilities. The controller is user-configurable and provides universal RTD, thermocouple, and linear inputs and independent autotuning for each PID loop. Other features include 4.5 in. by 7 in. control board, low voltage 24 VDC operation, autotune for simplified tuning of PID algorithms, vertical or horizontal mounting, and an operating temperature range of 0°C–70°C.
