ORTEC Products Group, AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology, Oak Ridge, TN, offers the Model ASPEC-927 dual-input multichannel analyzer for use with analog spectroscopy amplifiers. The single-width nuclear instrument module (NIM) provides two independent 16k-channel multichannel analyzers with standard gate and logic connections for dead-time corrections. Features include successive-approximation ADCs with sliding scale linearization with 16,384 channels and 1.25 µs conversion time, USB 2.0 interface to a PC, MAESTRO-32 emulation software, 512 KB of data memory, live display of data, and the ability to synchronize the unit with your sample changer or process control. The ADCs have selectable conversion gain settings for 8192, 4096, 2048, 1024, or 512.
