Set for automotive apps, the MCP8063 AEC-Q100-qualified motor driver resides in an eight-pin, 4 mm x 4 mm DFN package and features a 1.5A peak phase current for the 180º sinusoidal drive of a variety of three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor and fan applications. Operating temperature range is-40ºC to +125ºC and the device supports sensorless driving of BLDC motors, eliminating the cost and space of a Hall sensor.
