MOST50 INICs Fortify Automotive Infotainment Systems
Microchip Technology Inc.

Microchip Technology’s MOST50 Intelligent Network Interface Controllers (INICs) power the infotainment systems of Toyota Motor Corporation's latest Lexus GS line of luxury sedans. The cars are using the OS81092 INIC, which features an electrical physical layer (ePHY) that is optimized for use with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper wire. The remote-connection-management and remote-control capabilities of devices enable further options including the ability to build slim, processor-less network nodes. Additionally, MOST technology comes with a complete ecosystem of tools, software and support. To learn more about the company’s MOST networking products, visit
