The POTSwap module allows users of landline telephones and modems to replace their plain old telephone service (POTS) connection with a wireless cellular connection. An internal landline modem allows legacy dial-up modem equipment to connect to remote TCP/IP networks. Fixed location voice applications can connect to pre-programmed, non-PSAP directed PSTN or cellular monitoring point. Both dial-in and dial-out data and voice applications are supported. Features include support for all 2G and 3G network standards, wide range of modem support (Bell 103 through V.92), ARM Cortex-M3TM processor, firmware upgrade support, flexible power supply options, and a rugged aluminum enclosure.
