The Model 4990A Oasis modular signal conditioning system from Endevco Corp., San Juan Capistrano, CA, is highly configurable, supports multiple sensor technologies within the same application environment, and lets you manage up to 2048 channels. The system is designed to interface with multiple sensor types, including IEPE/Isotron and charge output piezoelectric sensors, TEDS, and piezoresistive DC differential technologies. A variety of signal conditioning cards support the system; cards are housed in a 16-slot, 19 in. rack and may be used in any configuration or type. The Model 4990A can be computer controlled via serial or Ethernet communications. Applications include small- and large-scale automotive and aerospace testing, vehicle NVH, modal and structural analysis, and multisensor/multichannel test and measurement.
