The DataFlex-1000A from DSPCon Inc., Bridgewater, NJ, is a portable high-speed data recorder that can be used as a stand-alone data recorder/replay unit, a virtual lab instrument, or as a full-function real-time data analyzer when integrated with the company's optional MultiScope visualization software. Features include an analog bandwidth capacity of 97.2 kHz/channel with anti-alias filtering; signal I/O includes IRIG-B, analog monitor channel, and audio annotation; a 10 MHz reference input; produces and accepts data formats including CATS, DATX, and UFF-58; sampling frequency adjustable 1 Hz to 216 Hz selectable; 24-bit resolution optionally rounded to 16 bits; standard 16 or 32 channel base unit, expandable in 16 or 32 channel increments; dual hot-swappable 750 GB hard disk drives or optional dual LTO-3 400 GB tape units or solid-state memory storage devices up to 128 GB each.
