The Series MIN840 from Stellar Technology Inc., Amherst, NY, is a miniature load cell with internal signal conditioning. The 0.15% accuracy sensor measures both tension and compression forces with either 4–20 mA, 0–5 VDC, or 0–10 VDC analog or RS-232, RS-485, or CANbus digital outputs. The sensor has all-welded SS construction and is offered in standard ranges from 250 lbf. to 5000 lbf.
