The 3DM-GX3-15 from MicroStrain Inc., Williston, VT, is a MEMS-based inertial measurement unit and vertical gyro and is intended for those users who need IMUs but do not need a magnetometer. The unit combines a triaxial accelerometer and triaxial gyro to maintain the inertial performance of the company's original GX3-25 IMU and also shares the same size and footprint. The MIP API is now integrated across the company's family of inertial sensor products.
