Miniature Connector Series Adds Pin-Socket Version

Extending the MiniMax Series miniature connectors is a pin-socket version, making the series available both in 19- and 24-pin configurations. The connector is suited for handheld or body-worn applications, instrumentation, and for test equipment. The pin socket version is available as a standalone connector, mountable on a flex or cabled by the users, or as a complete pre-cabled solution. While the 24 pin configuration is available with four power and 20 signal contacts, the 19 pin configuration features four power and 15 signal contacts as standard. Specs include a profile of less than 7 mm inside the box, sealing to IP68 (2m/24h), both mated and unmated, an unbreakable keying system that withstands over 4 Nm of torque, and over-molded assemblies able to withstand 40 kg of pull (break-away) force.
