Groomed for use in dusty environments, the MP Series is a microwave pulse radar is suitable for determining the level of bulk solids in silos or tanks. The unit has a measuring distance of up to 70m. Transmitting at a frequency of 26 GHz with a narrow beam angle of eight degrees, the radar is reportedly consistent and accurate in dusty environments. A non-contact device that uses time-of-flight to determine level in a vessel, it is able to ignore loose particles in the air and focus on actual material levels.
