ALISO VIEJO, CA -- Microsemi Corporation has won the Analyst Favorite Semiconductor Company Award presented by Needham & Company at the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Awards Dinner Celebration event. The annual awards program recognizes companies that have demonstrated excellence through their vision, strategy, execution and future opportunity. Microsemi was specifically recognized for its impressive growth and successful transformation of its business over the past several years.
Nominees for GSA's 2016 Analyst Favorite Semiconductor Company Award were selected by Quinn Bolton, an analyst with Needham & Company, LLC. Microsemi was then chosen as the favorite semiconductor company based on historical, as well as projected data, such as stock price, earnings per share, revenue forecasts and product performance.
Microsemi and other award winners were announced on Dec. 8, 2016 during the GSA Awards Dinner ceremony at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
