Bosch expands its consumer MEMS sensor portfolio with two high performance analog microphones. The AKU151 is described as the only microphone with both a very high SNR and high performance density (SNR/mm3) in a tiny top-port package while the AKU350 provides a 67-dB SNR. Both leverage Akustica/Bosch’s latest MEMS, ASIC, and package designs and enhanced manufacturing processes. The AKU151 in a 5.4-mm3 package delivers a SNR of 65dB and consumes 60 μA during standard, full-performance operation. The AKU350 bottom-port, metal-lid, 9.1-mm3 microphone with a single-ended output provides a 67-dB SNR and a ±1 dB sensitivity matching.
